|On March 29, 2020 President Trump announced he was extending the federal social distancing guidelines through April 30th. On Capitol Hill, Congress has initiated a response to the COVID-19 pandemic to address the economy and health issues of the nation. The response is being rolled out in phases, with Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 already signed into law by the President. At this time, it is unclear whether Congress will pursue additional phases.
