Farm Grown promotes the agricultural heritage and philanthropic vitality of the Central San Joaquin Valley through the building of meaningful partnerships in support of education, agriculture, healthy living, and baseball. Fresno Grizzlies and community ag partners are pleased to provide scholarships annually to outstanding FFA students pursuing a degree in an agricultural-related field.

Charles P. Lake/Rain for Rent Scholarship Program

Rain for Rent is pleased to announce its 2019 Scholarship Program. The Charles P. Lake-Rain for Rent Scholarship was established in the memory of the company’s founder.

Twenty scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each will be awarded to qualified students to help them pursue a career in agriculture, engineering or construction management. Scholarship applicants must have completed their freshman year at an approved college/university and be currently enrolled for the next school year.

The deadline for receipt of applications is Tuesday, April 30. Applications must be electronically submitted to or by mail to: Scholarship Coordinator, P.O. Box 2248, Bakersfield, CA 93303. Official transcripts must be included with each application.
