About the Course
Designed by acclaimed architect Ted Robinson Sr., the Palm Course, a 6,761-yard, par 72 from the back tees, is characterized by its signature palm trees that line the fairways and adorn the greens. The layout also incorporates mogul-like mounding that comes into play on several holes.
Robinson Sr., renowned as the “King of Waterscapes,” incorporated acres of sparkling streams, lakes and cascading waterfalls throughout the course to create one of the most picturesque settings in the Coachella Valley with a distinct tropical oasis feel.
Adding to the visual mastery of Robinson’s work, greenside and fairway bunkers lined with railroad ties adjoin several of the water hazards – with breathtaking views of the towering Santa Rosa Mountains providing a majestic backdrop. Strategically placed sand traps call for accuracy off the tee on both courses, while subtly breaking, multi-tiered greens require your attention over every putt.
With four sets of tees, this award-winning course was designed to be accessible for the beginning golfer while presenting plenty of challenge for the experienced player.
